“You spend most of your life inside your head, make it a nice place to be.” - unknown
My therapeutic approach is rooted in a person-centered approach. I also utilize different therapeutic perspectives such as attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. I believe every person is unique so I individualize therapy to meet each person’s specific needs.
I believe that everyone is the expert of their own lives and everyone within themselves has the capabilities of reaching their full potential. Through a collaborative therapeutic experience, my purpose is to create a safe space where you can express the fullness of who you are without judgment, be a guide on your healing journey, and provide you with the necessary tools to reach your full potential. I value the importance of the counseling relationship and believe that when a person receives unconditional positive regard, empathy, and safety is when healing can begin.
I provide individual counseling and I am interested in helping clients affected by:
• Grief and Loss
• Coping Skills
• Life Transitions
• Stressors Related to Minority Populations/Marginalized Groups
• Sexual Identity/Gender Identity Concerns
• People Living with HIV
