I am a board certified Family, Psychiatric, and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PMH, FNP-BC, FNP-C), located in Pikesville, Maryland. I have over 15 years of nursing experience, 8 of which I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner. I offer non-emergent, personalized mental & behavioral health services, including initial mental health evaluation and treatment, medication management across the lifespan. I am comfortable with seeing children from the age of six years old, pre-teens, teenagers and adults, who struggle with mental or behavioral health. I also prescribe Suboxone for patients who struggle with substance use disorder.
My goal is to create a safe space for anyone who seeks my support. My services are available to everyone and caters to the needs of individuals or families. I know that mental health is real, and that there could be some stigma associated with mental health. However, there is help out there. Therefore, I welcome people from all walks of life, children ages six years old, pre-teens, teenagers, adults and the elderly. Anyone who avails themselves, people who may be looked at differently in the society because of racial, sexual or ethnic differences are welcomed. I am committed to reaching out to my community by offering in-person, telehealth, telephonic and video consultations to make my services easily accessible.
I am an active member of multiple professional organizations including the American Nurses Association (ANA), The Maryland Nurses Association (MNA), The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and The Cameroonian Association of Nurse Practitioners in the United States (ACANPUS). Engaging in these organizations help me to be up-to-date with the latest treatment options for my patients.
