I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the CEO of The Heart Speaks! My private practice aims to aid clients in learning how to get out of their heads and into their heart space, thus encouraging the idea of "feeling your feels" rather than attempting to mask, avoid, or numb your emotions. I have worked with a variety of clients from various backgrounds to address concerns with self-esteem, relationships, family conflict, boundaries, communication, etc. My overall mission is to assist my clients in learning how to become empowered to speak and ultimately live in their truth!
During our time together, I take on a non-directive approach where I allow my clients to share their stories while I identify key points that we will focus on in our sessions. Specially, I utilize a collaborative approach where I serve as your accountability partner. Once we set the goals at the onset of therapy, it is my job to provide you with tools, homework, and alternative approaches to ensure you meet your stated goals.
