Welcome to Life Solutions Therapy! I’m Charelle Lloyd, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C). I earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Morgan State University in 2008 and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2014.
I have spent my career helping people through some of the most difficult times of their lives. My experience includes providing advocacy and support to patients hospitalized with medical and psychiatric illness, inpatient substance abuse treatment, outpatient mental health, and individual therapy. I have experience working with people struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief, relationship issues, and grief.
When I started graduate school, my goal was to work in private practice. I decided that it was time to make this goal a reality after working in various settings and seeing the gaps in options for therapy, especially for women of color.
We may be a good fit for therapy if:
You are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or just trying to figure out life
You are struggling to find balance while maintaining relationships, your career, parenthood, etc.
You are struggling with self-esteem and defining your identity
You are committed to the process of therapy and willing to complete homework assignments between sessions, when appropriate
