Description
Welcome to Life Solutions Therapy! I’m Charelle Lloyd, licensed therapist and Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C). My practice focuses on helping women overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma so that they can reclaim their lives. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Morgan State University in 2008 and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2014.
I have spent my career helping people through some of the most difficult times of their lives. My experience includes providing advocacy and support to patients hospitalized with medical and psychiatric illness, inpatient substance abuse treatment, outpatient mental health, and individual therapy. I have experience helping people with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, self-esteem, and grief.
When I started graduate school, my goal was to work in private practice. I decided that it was time to make this goal a reality after working in various settings and seeing the gaps in options for therapy, especially for women of color.
We may be a good fit for therapy if:

You are interested in how EMDR therapy can help you reprocess traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress
You are feeling depressed, chronically sad, or hopeless and looking for ways to feel better
You are committed to the process of therapy and willing to complete homework assignments, when necessary
If you are interested in working together, please contact me to schedule a free phone consultation.
