I use a trauma-informed, person-centered, and mindfulness based approach to therapy, creating an empathic space for you to feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I work with adults and teens around self-discovery, self-expression, and life adjustments. I believe that therapy works when there is a collaborative and trusting relationship that helps to empower to help you in your areas of need, while empowering you to use your strengths and learn tools to overcome difficulties. My practice is rooted in approaches that are compassionate and non-judgmental. I use a variety of techniques from breath work to creative expression to help clients heal, grow, and develop a healthy way of living.
I have experience working with survivors of trauma through Mount Siani’s SAVI’s program. She holds a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and a BA in Psychology from Hunter College
