Hello! My name is Cetara Davis.
I want to be a safe place for women to be refreshed, and to get the healing they need. I strongly believe that the healing of one individual can set up avenues of freedom for an entire family.
Many times, past traumas have weaved their way into our current circumstances and are operating in our current situations. Trauma impacts the way we react, our willingness to be vulnerable, our communication, expectations, physical health, and most of all how we perceive ourselves.
I am very interested in patterns of trauma that are passed from one generation to the next. I am on a mission to help you heal. It is quite common for women of color to be the foundation
of support. For their loved ones. The Mother, Grandmother, Sisters, and Auntie bear the weight of so many.
I know that counseling is very personal, and I want you to feel empowered in your decision to make the right choice for yourself. We are a team, and I want to work with you to find ways to
help you feel good and make progress towards your life goals.
I craft our work around your needs bringing out different tools to get you the results you desire.
Some of these tools include; Client-Centered, CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused, and Narrative Therapy. I enjoy working with adults who suffer from various traumas including childhood trauma, sexual abuse and partner violence, PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and Women Issues.
I am really excited for the opportunity to be a part of your healing journey. Life is so much better when we let go of the weight that keeps us from forgiving ourselves and forgiving others.
