Description

Whether you're a mother of a Black or Brown child or you're a person of color experiencing a high level of stress and worry intensified by racial factors - race plays a role in your day to day.

The folks I work with are looking to be understood in their experience. They struggle with questioning if they are the issue or if it's the world around them. They often work and live in high-stress and demanding environments where they are underrepresented. They seek community but they don't have the capacity to find it or know where to look.

I help folks of color who are experiencing high levels of stress, have experienced trauma, including race-base trauma and stress to feel (re)grounded in a sense of self and genuine connection to others. I also support mothers/mother figures parenting BIPOC/multiracial kids and multiracial individuals around identity.

I’m a liberation-focused therapist rooted in anti-oppressive methods who has been working with folks of color to address stress and trauma since 2006. As a Black biracial woman and mother, I understand the impact of lived experience on our healing. I'll walk alongside you with compassion, directness, and humor (because I believe laughter is also healing). I welcome you to reach out to schedule a free consultation.
