My name is Carole Sandy, a couple and family therapist and career counsellor. I am aware of how stress and worry has a way of seeping into various areas of our lives, and therefore I am both thoughtful and committed to walking alongside my clients as they face crises. I believe in creating new stories that empower and offer alternative voices of encouragement. I also believe in the power of humor, and laughter in therapy conversations. With a focus on a growth mindset, strength base, collaborative approach I honor the experiences of all. I believe that when we take into consideration our historical context and the impact of generational trauma it makes the work; I complete with clients more meaningful.
In my work with racial/ethnic minorities individuals, couples, and families I strive to create a safe space where they can address their lived experiences. new life, through meaningful connections that build supportive conversations, encourage accountability while processing difficult emotions through efficient and careful execution.
One of the most exciting features of counselling is being able to support individuals, couples and families address issues impacting their emotional or relational growth. I would like to help you break generational hurts by standing up to those challenging experiences and gaining meaningful insight. I am passionate about rebuilding healthy marriages and families.
