Let's face it, relationships are hard. Whether it's a significant other, family member, friend, co-worker, or even ourselves, it can be difficult to find meaning in the ways we try to communicate. Navigating the world of emotional connection with other humans can be a challenge, especially if we haven't always had success at understanding even our own personal emotions. There are so many different parts that make us whole, and my goal as a therapist is to help my clients safely explore and accept those various parts with empathy and compassion.

I pull from Attachment-based theory, Experiential Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to assist clients in processing their past, while advocating for them to walk their life path in the most authentic version of themselves. Emphasizing the mind-body connection, I may integrate yoga poses in session when appropriate.

Through my experience as a Black woman, I fully comprehend the difficulties in navigating the intersectionality we all have within different aspects of our lives. Whenever you are ready to start your journey, my office is a safe space to peel back the layers and explore all of the parts that make you whole.
