Hello, my name is Brianna.
I am excited that you are here in this space. It is a goal of mine to make sure that you feel valued, heard, and understood. I see counseling as something that is beneficial to all individuals, in every stage of life; whether you are feeling overwhelmed or just need someone who you can process the day to day with. I believe that in counseling you should be able to vocalize your needs throughout sessions. Sometimes what you need in the beginning of therapy changes and evolves, that is perfectly okay and welcomed! Counseling is for you, you decide what you want to bring to the session because you are the expert of your life. I use a person-centered, mindfulness cognitive behavioral therapy approach in order to assist you in feeling empowered and grow in your self-awareness of unhelpful thoughts and ineffective behaviors that hinder you from reaching your goals.
Life can be overwhelming and everyone experiences life differently, that is why I incorporate an array of therapeutic interventions based on what is the most helpful for you as an individual. I have experiencing addressing life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, trauma, and more.
Sometimes it can be intimidating when entering into the unknown, but the journey is always worth it and helps us grow into who we are meant to become. I am really looking forward to meeting you and walking alongside you as you take the next step towards what you need in this moment. We’re in this together!
