My goal as your therapist is to help you develop skills to live a more fulfilling and present life. I do this by helping my clients develop an understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and actions influence each other. I work with women experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, anger issues, and relationship problems. I especially enjoy helping clients strengthen their interpersonal communication skills by learning how to express their emotions and assert themselves, especially during difficult situations.
I use a blend of therapeutic techniques and interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective therapy module used to treat trauma.
