Are you a new (or not-so-new) mom juggling the demands of “Pandemic Parenting”? You never imagined having a baby would be so difficult. You constantly compare yourself to other moms and wonder if you are even cut out for motherhood. You’re likely feeling drained at the end of the day, anxious trying to figure out logistics and lacking any time for self-care. You may also find it difficult to connect with your partner and are tired of “not feeling like yourself”. Mama, I get it! I'm here to tell you that it is possible to find relief and realistic, lasting solutions and I am here to help!
Hi, I'm Brenna and I'm so glad you found your way here. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling. I am licensed in the State of California and can provide online teletherapy to anyone who resides in California. I am passionate about helping others going through difficult transitions in life; even and ESPECIALLY the ones we thought were supposed to be the happiest. Becoming a spouse, partner, mother, father, graduate, and everything in between can be incredibly exciting and scary at the same time. Many times, these new roles do not look the way we pictured them to be.
I am trained and specialize in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders which means I am passionate about helping pregnant or postpartum moms (and dads!) navigate the sometimes difficult transition into parenthood. This can look like feelings of sadness or stress right after having a baby, or simply the many hardships that come with being a parent today! My job is to let you know that whatever it is you're going through, there is hope.
Whether you're struggling with your first or fifth child, you're not alone! Together, we can work on creating a new normal and get you feeling happier and healthier along the way. I love the work that I do and I'd be honored to help you along your own journey. Take a look around my site and please contact me with any questions.
