I help my clients walk onto paths and lives that align with their own values. As a therapist and healer, my job is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you. I work with my clients to define what an aligned life looks like for them, then equip them with the tools to achieve it. No two clients are the same, and I use an eclectic approach, incorporating client feedback, to find what works best for each person. With every client, my goal is to eventually build a foundation of self-trust and emotional resilience that allows you to graduate from therapy. After working with me, my clients report a greater feeling of daily wellbeing.
I am particularly interested in working with clients of color. I believe that mental health is not only informed by the individual, but also a consequence of systemic and structural forces that work against people of color, the economically disadvantaged, and gender nonconforming peoples, amongst countless other groups.
In the past, groups I have worked with include survivors of domestic violence, veterans seeking housing, victims of police brutality, foster care with youths and families, and as a general practitioner working in complex trauma. If you feel you would benefit from us working together, it would be my privilege to join your journey.
