Hi! My name is Beverly and I look forward to walking with you on your journey to peace, clarity and fulfillment. My goal is to create a safe, calm and affirming space where you feel comfortable to share anything that is on your mind. There is no judgment here. We all have struggles and we all need support from time to time.
I invite you to get comfortable as we talk about where you want to see changes in your life. I will provide you with guidance and gentle encouragement as you discover the power within yourself. Using active listening and thought provoking questions, I will encourage you to try out a different perspective. It may feel a bit uncomfortable but that only means that you are growing.
Are disturbing experiences from your past preventing you from living your best life today? When we have unresolved trauma in our life, it can literally live in our bodies resulting in a variety of symptoms such as anxiety, overwhelming sadness, unpredictable or unmanageable emotional responses, negative self beliefs, difficulty sleeping - to name a few. I am a trained EMDR and Brainspotting therapist. Both of these treatment modalities have been extensively researched and have been proven to be effective in providing relief and resolution for unprocessed trauma.
I know that it can be scary to reach out for help. On some days, you know that it is the right thing to do but then the next day comes, you feel better so you think that you don’t need the help. But you and I both know that feeling never lasts long. You need to address those lingering, uncomfortable feelings once and for all.
