Are you looking for a provider that listens to you ,gives you time and pay attention to your mental health needs? I consider myself lucky to work in a progressive age of healthcare, and strongly believe that mental healthcare especially relies on a culture of acceptance and openness. I do believe that Healthcare providers should work harder than ever to foster a safe environment for all patients, and I not only care for patients, but share good practices in empathy and understanding.
My goal is to advocate for my patients and manage their treatment with compassion, understanding, and attention to holistic care. I bring with me a unique set of work experiences with total of 17 years in medical field, 7 of those as a nurse practitioner, these experiences have exposed me to mental health , given me understanding of mental health needs and have fostered my passion for helping those most in need, especially those with mental health needs
I have worked as a medical Nurse practitioner with different populations in Hospitals, Psychiatric care, Long term care, Hospice, Veterans as well as in the community providing medical needs to Adult populations for over 5 years, in those five years, I also take care of a large amount of mental Health population which led me to pursue a degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I have provided Mental health care to the Adult population for over 2 years specializing in Depression and Anxiety among other mental health needs. In addition to Mental Health I also certified in MAT and specialize in Alcohol and substance abuse among the Adult population.
