Healing is a journey. It is a necessary art that helps us develop self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love. Once we start to realize that healing is a lifelong process and not a destination, we begin to embrace the journey and the wins that come with it, as well as our true, authentic selves. At times, we might feel lost on where to start or where to go. I like to think of therapy as a vehicle for healing with you as the driver. Allow me to help you navigate through your journey.
As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I am passionate about helping young adults, women, and men from ages 18-64 destigmatize mental health to seek treatment to address various issues. These include depression, anxiety, peer/dating relationship issues, self-esteem, substance abuse, suicidal ideation, life transitions, and domestic abuse. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for my clients’ treatment.
My goal is to help you begin the healing process and implement personalized coping skills to overcome life and self-imposed obstacles. We can work together to transcend wellness!
