Description

Hi, I’m glad you’re deciding to take this step on your journey to become the best version of yourself. My name is Aysha. I help parents navigate the emotional, mental, and relational shifts that occur during pregnancy, postpartum, and while raising little humans. The perinatal/parenthood journey can bring up a lot of feelings including anxiety, depression, stress, and grief. Experiencing these things doesn’t make you a bad person or bad parent, it makes you human. This journey can be very rewarding, but can also be one of the most challenging. My goal as a therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental space to talk about the challenges.

I’m also passionate about supporting women, especially Black women, navigating life transitions, identity and stress. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself in the midst of life’s demands, you deserve care, support, and space to breathe.

My approach is an attachment-based approach, integrating CBT and other modalities from a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens. Together, we’ll create a space for healing, reflection, and growth, where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered in your journey.
