I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Prior to receiving my Master’s degree, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Since becoming an LPC, I have gained experience in working with individuals with addiction disorders and mental health concerns of all kinds. My experience has been gained through individual, group, and family counseling.
I work with and encourage my clients to find the elements needed to bring about personal growth, hope, realization, and self-discovery. I believe that counseling is an empowering experience, and by working together on creating change and growth is the most rewarding part of my work as a counselor.
My approach is always to walk right next to my clients and help them to lead themselves to a healthy space in a holistic and mindful way. Working on being present with oneself in key to finding joy in the process of therapy.
