I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Prior to receiving my master’s degree, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Since becoming an LPC, I have gained experience in working with individuals with addiction disorders and mental health concerns of all kinds. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, women’s issues, trauma, relationship struggles, and personal boundaries development.
I work with and empower my clients to find the elements needed to bring about personal growth, hope, realization, and self-discovery. I believe that counseling is an empowering experience, and by working together on creating change and growth within my clients is the most rewarding part of my work as a counselor.
Mental health is what I am most passionate about in life. What happens in our minds influences all that we do. My approach is always to walk right next to my clients and help them to lead themselves to a healthy space in a holistic and mindful way.
In my spare time, I like to get creative and paint, dance around the house with my son, and visit my home state of Louisiana.
