Aspen holds a BA in Literary Studies from Williams College with a concentration on the African Diaspora. More recently, she completed her MA in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling at NYU. In the years between her degrees, Aspen worked in Human Resources in both the finance and tech industries.

Aspen treats clients across the lifespan as they navigate family conflict, anxiety and depression, performance issues in school and work, mood disorders, trauma, gender, sexuality, race, culture, and life transitions.

Aspen emphasizes identity and intersectionality, while building judgement-free relationships with her clients. Her practice includes elements of attachment theory, interpersonal psychotherapy, social justice, and whole-person wellness. Aspen’s ultimate goal as a clinician is to help her clients discover and harness their own strength, agency, and insight.
