My educational background includes a BA in Psychology and BS in Family Studies from Miami University and a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. I am passionate about and have extensive experience working with adults, children/adolescents, families, and couples in home, community, and agency based settings. My approach to therapy is integrative in nature, incorporating several schools of therapy and tailoring interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. My specialty areas of treatment consist of trauma, adolescent girls, family conflict, non-suicidal self injury, parent-child relational issues, foster care services, perfectionism, and self-esteem. I am a compassionate professional that creates a safe space for clients to explore and heal from their past while building their resiliency and hope for their future.
