Description
Some seasons of life feel heavier than others. You may be managing responsibilities, relationships, or expectations while feeling anxious, emotionally worn down, or unsure of yourself beneath the surface. For adolescents, this can show up as withdrawal, irritability, anxiety, or difficulty expressing what they are feeling. For adults, it often looks like overthinking, emotional fatigue, or feeling stuck during periods of change.
I work with adolescents and adults who want a thoughtful, steady space to slow down and understand what is happening internally. My approach is calm, collaborative, and intentional. Therapy with me is not rushed or overly directive. We focus on building awareness, emotional regulation, and clarity so that growth feels grounded rather than forced.
I am trained in EMDR and incorporate it when appropriate to help clients process distressing experiences that continue to affect the present. EMDR is used thoughtfully and at a pace that feels safe and supportive. Not every session is trauma focused. The work is always guided by readiness, trust, and your individual needs.
Clients often describe sessions as grounding and stabilizing. I value careful listening, meaningful reflection, and creating a space where you do not have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have all the answers. Progress happens through consistency and developing greater trust in yourself over time.
