I enjoy working with all age groups. My experience includes anxiety, trauma, divorce, grief/loss, depression, postpartum, family relationships, addiction, self-esteem, anger management and life transitions. I have a background in hospital, residential, and outpatient settings as well as ABA therapy for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgment. I provide a safe, caring and confidential environment for clients to explore their feelings, beliefs and clarify their goals. I utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based models with tailored treatment plans to meet the individual needs of each client. I am a trained SPACE therapist (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) developed at the Yale Child Study Center.
Treatment begins with a phone consultation to explore your intentions for treatment and to schedule an initial session. During the initial session, we also discuss goals for treatment, as broad or as specific as you prefer.

*New Group Starting Wednesdays @7p
Trust the Process Group: “To be seen, to be heard, to be understood.”
A process group for brown girls ages 12-18, addressing the stigma surrounding mental health issues and therapy preventing brown girls/young women from speaking on concerns and emotions. This group is designed to provide structure for young brown girls struggling with social interaction during the global pandemic along with consistent Black Lives Matter (BLM) media controversy. This group is to provide girls with a safe place to process cultural concerns, development of healthy racial self-identity, family dynamic, consensual validation, social and racial injustice. Members are encouraged to utilize this group to network and connect with each other, to pose questions and support each other.
Fees: BCBS PPO or $35 a session
