I’m Ashley Goodwin, MSW, LCSW, LISW-CP a licensed clinical therapist in NC. I’m also a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice in SC. I earned my Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina in 2012. I’ve been working in the mental health field for over 12 years providing services in office, school, confinement, community, virtual and home settings. I have worked with individuals and families to manage depression, anxiety, anger, problems with peer groups, problems related to life transitions, oppositional defiant behaviors in teens and other identified problems.

Through Heal, Empower & Restore Therapy Services, PLLC and LSJ Counseling and Clinical Services. I treat adults and couples struggling with depression, anxiety, women’s issues, anger, peer relationships, stress, impulse control, life transitions and self esteem in a virtual setting. I offer relevant, real world tools to help YOU lead in your own healing to help empower you and aid in restoring your own belief in your ability to live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.

I’m here for you. We’re all battling things, some visible, some not. Your mental well-being matters to me and as your therapist I will enter into a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help you on your healing journey.
When I’m not in therapist mode, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, funny podcasts and music, watching TV and movies, being outdoors, attending live music events and traveling.
