From therapy newbies to seasoned self-explores, therapy can be the place to build the life you deserve. Within my work, I focus on women’s issues from a culturally sensitive perspective. My goal is to empower clients to feel confident to shape the life they’ve only imagined while being mindful of societal and cultural influences. Although I do not exclusively work with BIPOC women, my work is guided by a gender-sensitive, multicultural orientation. My typical client is motivated to move in a new direction but may need a little help along the way!

My practice, Feeling Groovy Mental Health invites clients to question these norms and to create genuine perspectives on how to engage with the world around us. The goal is to illuminate how therapy can help us develop our authenticity while analyzing how societal and cultural factors influence our worldview. After developing this insight, we'll work to identify areas for growth and develop the skills and confidence to make these changes!

I've had the honor to see how impactful therapy can be in changing people’s daily lives. But historically it’s known that many minorities receive inferior care for both their physical and mental health, resulting in transgenerational concerns. As a therapist of color, I feel an obligation to normalize the process of seeking mental health support within minority communities and to educate them on strategies to support their overall wellness!
