Description
Specialities: anxiety, life transitions, racial and cultural identity, gender, and trauma.
We all deserve to be heard. I believe each person already has skills and strengths that have helped you make it this far, and together we can collaborate to develop new skills, while adjusting those that no longer serve you. I will work with you as a partner to navigate challenges, heal from pain and trauma, and offer insight from a therapeutic perspective. There is no one-size-fits all to therapy, so I take a holistic and individualized approach to help you reach your goals, grow, and heal. Clients come to me to navigate difficulties associated with anxiety, depression, life transitions, cultural and racial identity, and trauma and I take joy in working with people of all backgrounds and identities.
Our intersecting identities shape our experiences, how we process them, and how the world responds back to us. I know that mental health is just as much a relational experience as it is an individual one, which is why I believe in creating a space that is authentic and open, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed.
My approaches include: trauma-informed care, ACT, CBT, attachment theory, systems theory, and mindfulness.
