Specialities: trauma, anxiety, racial and cultural identity, gender, and sexual assault.
Our intersecting identities shape our experiences, our processing of those experiences, and how the world responds back to us. Mental health is just as much a relational experience as it is an individual one, which is why I believe in creating a therapeutic space that is authentic and open, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. I believe each person already has skills and strengths that have helped you make it this far, and together we can collaborate to develop new ones, while adjusting those that no longer serve you.
You can expect me to offer empathy, active listening, transparency, an open mind, and a little bit of humor. I believe you are the expert of your experience, and I will work with you as a partner in the process of working through issues, and offering insight from a therapeutic perspective. There is no one-size-fits all to therapy, so I take a holistic and individualized approach to help you reach your goals, grow, and heal.
