Description

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who holds master’s degrees in both Social Work and Pan-African Studies. I believe that every client is an individual living within a larger system that impacts their well-being, and that change must happen on multiple levels to truly improve someone's quality of life.

Though I enjoy working with all ages and presenting issues, I specialize in work with adolescents, the LGBTQ community, and victims of racial oppression. I believe that improving a client's confidence and sense of safety is a crucial part of the therapeutic process.

In my career, I have worn many hats and served several different populations. Many of the last several years have been spent treating adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral difficulties in residential and inpatient settings. I also have extensive experience working with the city's most vulnerable houseless residents. Most recently, I've spent the last three years treating both adolescents and adults in an outpatient, office setting.

I am a native of Radcliff, Kentucky. I earned a bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language Interpreting at Eastern Kentucky University, followed by the aforementioned master’s degrees. I like to spend my free time caring for my rescue dogs, volunteering with animal services, collecting children’s books, and paper crafting.
