Aqueelah Wheatley is a cultured African American Therapist who believes in challenging her clients to rediscover themselves through the lens of enhanced introspection, self-worth, and revived motivation. Aqueelah assists clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mood/behavioral disorders. In addition, Aqueelah works with couples and families to find their love language and grow through constructive and meaningful conflict resolution. Aqueelah's client population consists of adults, couples, and families.
Aqueelah’s education, training, and experience have opened opportunities for her to partner with diverse clientele, utilizing both systemic and evidenced-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Aqueelah’s goal is to walk alongside her clients as they journey and explore new perspectives and unlock new stages of change.
Known best for her enthusiastic, genuine and non-judgmental nature, Aqueelah relishes collaborating with her clients by finding what is uniquely incredible about them and introducing it through personalized strength-based and client-focused approaches that capture and excel their therapeutic needs and expectations.
Aqueelah Wheatley, MS, LMFT, Owner and Lead therapist of Supportive Advice, has teamed up with MEWCO to provide in-person and telehealth services to Ohio Residents. The vision of this collaboration is to expand the reach of extraordinary Couples, Individual, and Family therapy services to both private pay and insurance clients with ease. Because of this, pricing and fees are currently being determined by Emotional Wellness Centers of Ohio (MEWCO, mewcohio).
