Dr. April Piercy wants to assist individuals looking for health and wellness for their mind, body, and spirit. The ideal clients are African Americans looking find a therapist that they can identify and be comfortable with. The goals is to assist with breaking stereotypes about therapy in African American communities. In addition, with working with the two areas mentioned. Working with individuals and or family experiencing diversity issues in their everyday lives. Finally, Women Issues the goal is to assist women with finding who they are again and guide them towards healing of self.
Dr. Piercy has experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as an intervention to assistant clients with significant changes. Using Bowen Family Systems as an intervention to aid families in examining family unit connections. Dr. Piercy offers support an environment where you feel comfortable to express you thoughts and feelings.
