Description
Welcome! My name is Anita Martin, LPC-S, NCC, BC-TMH, MAC, SAP. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Arkansas and a Registered Yoga Teacher. As a licensed therapist, I have nearly twenty years of experience working with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues, perinatal, and postnatal periods. I can assist you when you may feel vulnerable, stressed, overwhelmed, and isolated. You’re not alone. I can help you through these trying times. I also love helping families, couples, and individuals struggling with transitions they may be facing.
Assisting individuals to find the language to communicate about sex and make it a satisfying part of their relationship. In therapy, I support clients with getting in touch with their sexuality by exploring and discovering what feels right and help individuals confidently share learned knowledge with their partners. We belong to a culture that promotes female sexual repression, stigma, shame, and guilt. I am committed to helping others break free from the walls of sexual inhibitions and embrace their sexual beings.
Also, I have worked in a wide variety of settings, including my private practice, where I have developed my eclectic philosophy in working with clients. I empower clients to achieve their goals in their counseling journey. I strongly believe that having a balance in mind, body, and soul is the key to healthy living. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I can assist my clients in integrating self-regulating coping skills, mindfulness practices, and grounding techniques to reduce stress and anxiety.
My overall goal is to help you find happiness, reach your potential, and create a bright future. I look forward to working with you to create the life and relationships you’re longing for.
