Description
As a therapist, I am known for helping others move forward to become the best that is within them. My basic belief is that recovery is a journey. I find purpose in helping others to realize their full potential in spite of challenging and adverse circumstances. My clients are often seeking help with depression, anxiety, anger management skills, relationship issues, life transitions, couples therapy, career counseling, confidence building, self-esteem, problems in the workplace, Women’s issues, Disability Awareness, and Cultural Diversity issues.
Interventions include: a client-centered and interactive approach, along with solution-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness skills, and psychoeducational strategies (individual, couples, and group). Using these helping tools, I help clients rebuild their lives by identifying and tapping into sources of inner strength, persevering, and becoming more resilient. This process of self-discovery and self-care often leads to wholeness in mind, body, and spirit.
