Description
My name is Angelina Power. I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania with six years of experience working with people from various backgrounds and life circumstances. I obtained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I specialize in working with adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, chemical dependencies, grief, motivation, and self-esteem problems. Additionally, my practice includes supporting professionals around issues of compassion fatigue, burnout mitigation and recovery, and managing stress related to work and professional development.
As a bi-racial woman who grew up as a military brat, I've lived in small communities on the Navajo Nation and in rural Alaska. Cultural sensitivity is something I hold in high regard. It is important in my practice of working with others to value and acknowledge their experiences.
