Ready to spring forward from the wounds of trauma, the weight of depression, or the unsettling feeling of anxiety?

Have you ever found yourself saying “I didn’t always use to be like this,” “I need to get back to my old self,” or “I’ve been dealing with a lot lately” and hoping for the insight or tools to change that?

You’ve come to the right place. The time is now to get life back on track.

I’m Andréa Addie, and I work with adults and LGBTQIA identifying folks just like you: ones that have it within them to thrive again after life challenges, but just need the support to tap into their strengths to get there or support gathering and sorting pieces of life to make sense of everything.

I help my clients find relief, empowerment, and happiness by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves and gain control over the situation.

Often individuals in therapy find themselves receiving generic talk therapy to address trauma, depression, or anxiety, leading to temporary relief but ultimately leaving them feeling like they’re not making real progress towards the vision of the life they have for themselves in the long run. Your circumstances are unique, so I take a person-centered, tailored, an approach utilizing evidence-based interventions always with your end goals in mind. Through our work together, you’ll have the insight you’re searching for and be equipped with the tools to make progress towards that vision of the life you’ve designed for yourself.

I am dedicated to helping people soar and flourish.

My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) means I have the expertise needed to help you flourish. But at the end of the day, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be someone struggling with the aftermath of trauma, life circumstances, depression, or anxiety, right?

I get it – I have dedicated my career to helping others with experiences similar to yours, and I know how challenging it is to make the first step towards getting the help. It has been rewarding to for me assist others to overcome life challenges and watch them flourish from obstacles they never imagined possible. It would be equally rewarding to assist you on your life journey. Just know when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who is truly invested in you.
