Description

When traditional therapy alone isn't enough, we must find other ways to heal.

Let's talk about you. And more importantly, how you are taking care of yourself. How are you coping with life? What are the relationships like with those around you? What is it that you are holding on to that is holding you back?

I firmly believe that a part of what we experience with those closest to us, is a reflection of our relationship with ourselves. If we treat ourselves harshly or have unrealistic expectations, these often extend to those around us. Or conversely, we may put ourselves last, and not have room for ourselves in our own lives. In our work, we will dig into the most important relationship you will have or nurture: the one with yourself.

I have been a therapist for 13 yrs, and now my work has led me to look deeper into alternative ways of growth and healing. I utilize standard tools of therapy and cognitive processing, and also stress the importance of mindfulness and meditation in one’s life. My specialties are: addressing self-care/self-compassion/self-love, managing stress, processing trauma, and serving the LGBTQIA+ community.

Being a yoga and Reiki practitioner, I encourage and promote meditation, movement, and energetic healing as additional tools to alleviate suffering. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy or that there is only one way to heal, so let's create a customized path towards helping you live a more aligned and balanced life. I look forward to working with you!
