Hi there! I’m Ana, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist who believes that when we learn to be kinder to ourselves in difficult moments, positive change can happen.
My clinical background is in helping clients treat issues pertaining to anxiety, depression, alcohol/substance abuse, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, and life transitions. I also have extensive experience in working with individuals suffering from homelessness, serious mental illnesses, co-occurring substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions.
Using a client-centered and strengths based approach that focuses on empathy and compassion, I aim to help clients make authentic, positive, and long-lasting changes. My goal is to help each client identify attainable goals and then assist in identifying the most appropriate way to reach those goals. To do so, I utilize several approaches to treatment including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy.
If I sound like a good fit, please reach out for a free 20-minute consultation call!
