Description

Do you find yourself ghosting when you feel uncomfortable? Leaving friends on read for months on end? Have difficulty saying no and setting clear boundaries? Desire deeper relationships with those around you but cant seem to figure out how? Take a deep breath, I may be the therapist you've been scrolling to find.....Hello! My name is Amerah, I help clients recognize how avoidance and suppression, once necessary for survival, can grow into cycles that block deeper connection and healing.

I help clients reconnect to themselves by weaving a holistic mind-body-spirit approach into my work, honoring the connections often fragmented in Western models of care — especially for people of color. With warmth and authenticity, I guide clients toward self-discovery, offering both compassion and challenge when needed.

As a Black, queer, neurodivergent, clinician who embraces non-western spiritual practices, I bring a nuanced understanding of diverse communities and lived experiences. I integrate psychodynamic, somatic, CBT, feminist, narrative, and depth psychology’s evidence-based approaches into my practice, holding each session with deep attunement and cultural humility.

I am accepting new clients, and I would be happy to walk alongside you on your healing journey!
