Our holistic approach to care focuses on you as a whole person. We listen to any goals, fears, and needs you may have for your pregnancy and postpartum journey. Then, we support and guide you all while treating you with the compassion and respect you deserve.
Who I Am:
Amber Gillian is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland and a practitioner with the Bloom Collective in Baltimore, MD. She has completed advanced trainings in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma, and mindfulness.
Her career is focused on raising awareness around mental health challenges, creating communities of supportive individuals, and helping clients gain access to essential resources. Amber utilizes an eclectic approach to healing, which takes into account all parts of a client’s social, emotional, and psychological influences. She will talk about your network of support, the importance of adequate rest and nutrition, self-care, mindfulness, cultivating positive energy, and having goals outside of parenting.
A graduate from State University of New York with a B.S. in Business, Management, and Economics and obtained a M.S. in Applied Psychology, Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore.
At The Bloom Collective, Amber leads a weekly virtual postpartum support group as well as provides individual therapy.
