Description
From childhood through older adulthood, we experience constant seasons of change—whether in school, work, friendships, relationships, puberty, aging, or end of life care. Navigating these transitions can bring feelings of overwhelm, self-doubt, isolation, worry, or sadness. My name is Alex, and I am deeply passionate about supporting young adults, professionals, and working parents as they move through life’s challenges. It is especially important for me to work with people of color because we face more systemic inequalities. This can create different kinds of stress and impact our mental health in different ways. I take a strengths-based approach to therapy, helping individuals regain clarity and confidence in their journey.
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MB-CBT), both of which are evidence-based practices that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and personal growth.
For me, this work is about more than just therapy—it’s about creating an environment that fosters self-reflection, self-expression, and reconnection with the best version of yourself. I take a holistic approach in my practice, ensuring that each person feels heard, supported, and empowered on their path toward healing and growth.
