With so many responsibilities and commitments, it can be challenging to make time for ourselves to reflect and think about life choices. At times, we may overlook our mental health and how various issues are affecting us. My approach to psychotherapy is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space in which you can take time to learn about yourself.
I place an emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and strive to create a healing environment. I view therapy as a guided discovery in which you can examine issues, engage in meaning-making, develop insight, and practice coping skills.
I am experienced in helping adults with various issues, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and cultural/sexual identity. Your identity is integral to this work and I view your issues within a cultural context.
