Description
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I believe that getting therapy is the basis of great overall health. Often, “mental health” is left out of the equation when considering the overall idea of being healthy. Addressing mental health can benefit an individual in a variety of areas such as their professional, academic, and personal relationships—especially the most important relationship of all—the one you have with yourself.
I specialize in working with couples and families who are experiencing a variety of issues such as communication problems, infidelity, impulse control, trauma, and parenting conflicts. Many families and couples just need a neutral party to help facilitate a conversation between the parties involved.
I also work with individuals of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds. I consider myself a culturally competent therapist because I am willing to meet client’s where they are and explore their lives to gain a deeper understanding of their problems.
