Description

I am doing something different in mental healthcare. This is something you probably haven’t heard of but immediately know it is needed. “Job Therapy”.

Vocational Mental Health Counseling is a specialization that focuses on the optimizing one's mental wellbeing at work, because of work, for work, and the impacts of working. I have Masters' degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Career Development and Placement Counseling. Through the lens of solution focused brief therapy and the Savickas' Life Design approach I can help with creating realistic work / life balances and maintaining mental fitness.

Sometimes you just need to talk. Sometimes you need to start in the middle and feel safe that you will be given the benefit of the doubt long enough to tell the whole story. I provide a future forward process that teaches personalized paths to inner peace as well as practical skills for maintaining mental fitness as you balance your work, school, and life commitments.

If your working hours are keeping you from therapy, please contact me to discuss potential options.
