Description
Dr. Brittany Tarrant was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland to a family who encouraged her to follow her dreams – even if that meant humoring a 5-year-old who exclaimed that she would be a doctor one day. Dr. Tarrant went on to complete her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. There, she discovered her love for the human brain and mental health and knew that psychiatry would be a great fit. She completed her master’s degree at Georgetown University and then her Doctor of Medicine degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She then set her sights on the sunny skies and warm weather here in Los Angeles and completed her general adult and child and adolescent psychiatric training at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience & Human Behavior and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
