Description
You can be high achieving, dependable, and still deeply exhausted.
Many Black women I work with are chosen in relationships, valued at work, and relied on by family, yet feel unseen, guarded, or emotionally unsafe. If you’ve learned to stay composed while suppressing your needs, therapy offers a place where you don’t have to carry everything alone.
In our work together, we explore how childhood emotional neglect, survival roles, and high-functioning anxiety shape your relationships today. Using CBT, trauma informed tools, relational, and holistic approaches, we help you slow down, set boundaries without guilt, and untangle patterns of overgiving, self-silencing, and burnout, so you can show up as yourself, not just the “strong one.”
Healing isn’t about losing your strength; it’s about redefining it.
I offer virtual therapy for Black women across North Carolina. If you’re tired of surviving and ready to feel more grounded, safe, and connected, click “Email Me” or “Call Me” to get started.
