Welcome to Essential Life Counseling and Family Services! My name is Ishmel Cerisier, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Central Florida area. I have over 10 years of experience working with adults, couples, children, and teens. I offer services Face to Face in Winter Park, FL and via Telehealth across the state of Florida. My areas of expertise are Relationship/Conflict issues, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Self Esteem/Self Image, Employment, and Parenting issues. I have also worked with trauma-related and personality disorders.
My approach is warm, supportive, and compassionate. I believe in a person-centered based perspective to empower each client within their individual needs and utilize multiple therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and Emotional Focused Therapy-Couples.
