Description

Welcome; I’m glad you’re here. Reaching out for support is a meaningful step. You already carry tremendous inner strength--therapy simply helps you uncover, trust, and grow what’s already within you. I’m here as a partner and guide as you deepen your self-understanding, care for your emotional health, and move toward the life you want live.

I support women and couples—especially Black women and people of color—who want to stress less, adapt to change, and connect more authentically with themselves and others. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or relationship challenges, I offer compassionate, culturally attuned therapy designed to meet you where you are, and encourage you to move out of your comfort zone and into new ways of thinking, being and doing.

Rooted in a narrative, multicultural, and womanist perspective, my approach honors how your culture and life experiences shape your story. We’ll explore the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to uncover what’s holding you back—and build on your strengths to support healing and growth.

As a multidimensional practitioner, I tailor therapy to your unique needs. I draw from a holistic toolkit that may include EMDR, expressive arts, CBT, and the Gottman Method for couples therapy. We may also integrate wellness practices such as sleep hygiene, movement, and nutrition to support your overall well-being.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years as a health and wellness journalist, which deepened my understanding of storytelling as a tool for both personal and collective healing. Now, as a psychotherapist, I bring curiosity, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping you find your voice, honor your truth, and live your purpose.

My services may be eligible for out-of-network insurance reimbursement—please check with your plan for details, or we can check on your behalf. I also offer a sliding-scale fee to help ensure finances aren’t a barrier to accessing care.

I invite you to reach out and explore how we might work together on your path to healing and growth.
