Description
You’ve been the strong one for so long that it barely feels like a choice anymore.
You’re accomplished. Capable. Ambitious. You know how to show up, get things done, take care of people, and keep moving even when you’re running on empty. From the outside, you may look like you have it together. But underneath the success, you’re tired.
Tired of carrying everyone. Tired of overthinking. Tired of being the dependable one. Tired of feeling guilty when you rest. And maybe you’re starting to wonder who you are when you’re not producing, fixing, achieving, or taking care of someone else.
I work with accomplished and high-achieving Black women navigating burnout, anxiety, trauma, identity shifts, life transitions, boundaries, and the pressure of always being “the strong one.”
Our work isn’t about making you less ambitious, less driven, or less capable. It’s about understanding what it has cost you to function this way for so long and helping you build something more sustainable.
My approach integrates EMDR, CBT, nervous-system regulation, and trauma-informed mind-body work. We may explore the experiences that taught you to stay in control, the roles you’ve learned to carry, the ways you’ve had to perform strength, and what it would mean to feel safe enough to put some of it down.
Because you deserve more than a life you can successfully manage.
You deserve a life you actually get to experience.
You don’t have to stop being strong. You just deserve somewhere you don’t have to be.
