Description

Hi, I’m Morganne. I’m an Afro-Asian, queer, feminist, minimalist, intuitive empath, psychologist, survivor, and intersectional environmentalist (she/her). I run a decolonized holistic mental health practice that centers intersectionally sensitive people and empaths.

I integrate clinical expertise with intuition to help you uncover subconscious patterns—including healing from internalized societal expectations that don’t align with your true self—navigate your mental health, and deepen your connection to who you truly are, the Earth, and the larger universe that holds us.

I specialize in decolonized holistic mental health, intersectionality, complex trauma (i.e., CPTSD, intergenerational trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, marginalization, existential stress, etc.), & highly sensitive people/empaths.

I offer decolonized integrative holistic psychotherapy with intuitive feedback and concierge service, which includes a blend of case management, advocacy, and light email/text support. This model is designed to help you navigate complex systems while gently rewiring subconscious patterns so your inner life aligns more fully with your Higher Self. I am an out-of-network provider, which means I work for you—not insurance companies—so your wellbeing remains the priority. Out-of-network benefits are common, and to make the process easy, I partner with Thrizer, a platform that automatically submits claims and deposits reimbursements back into your account once your out-of-network deductible is met.

Before deductibles are met, many clients use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), allowing care to be paid for with pre-tax dollars and reducing the impact on everyday finances.

Please visit the FAQ section of my website for more information on out-of-network benefits and what to expect from the process.

I also recognize that access to affirming, competent mental health care is a systemic issue. In response, I offer a free quarterly group and am affiliated with therapy fund registries that help reduce financial barriers to care. The therapy fund that is associated with Therapy for Black Girls is the Loveland Foundation. If you need financial support, please visit their website: https://thelovelandfoundation.org/

With that said, stay tuned for opportunities to support others through donations toward accessible mental health services. You can find my therapy FAQ section here: https://www.journeycbtcounseling.com/therapy

I also offer one-off intuitive healing sessions. In these sessions, I listen deeply to your Higher Self, mirror back your soul-level energy, and answer any questions you have about healing. You can book a 30- or 60-minute session at your convenience: https://www.journeycbtcounseling.com/intuitive-session

As mentioned above, I also host a free quarterly online event called Ask A Therapist, where I answer questions from a decolonized holistic mental health stance with an intuitive lens. If you’d like the link to access the event and reminders, I invite you to join my newsletter: https://www.journeycbtcounseling.com/newsletter

When you join as a subscriber, you’ll receive a monthly newsletter with Inclusive Holistic Mental Health insights and affirmations, invitations to my free quarterly group event—Ask A Therapist - as well as the opportunity to submit questions that I answer through detailed breakdowns on YouTube and my blog.

I understand that barriers to affirming, competent mental health care is systemic. In response, I offer Ask A Therapist, a free monthly Q&A forum where decolonized holistic mental health guidance is shared through a clinical and intuitive lens.

You’re warmly invited to receive invitations to these events when you sign up for my newsletter:

Please note Note:
These events and the content I share online are not a replacement for a health provider’s advice, or seeing a/your health care provider. If you have any concerns about your mental or physical health, contact your health provider.

If you are experiencing an urgent or emergency situation, do not wait for help.

Because calling the police is unsafe for many marginalized communities, call your healthcare provider, consider community-based mental health alternatives to law enforcement by visiting: Don't Call the Police, and contact an affirming crisis resource, like the resources below, who can help you navigate calling 911 if needed. Your health is activism❤️✨🌿.
